A new glass feature has been installed in the new terminal of San Diego Lindbergh Field. The installation features a fun and whimsical nod to the TSA. The figures within the artwork all represent the x-ray of multiple bags. Hood Design Studio of Oakland California created a vast library of graphic elements representing different items that could be in passengers bags. They then built hundreds of different suitcases with varying contents. Now this was a lot of tedious work! Kudos for the concept and the result.

Pulp Studio worked with the designer to finalize the artwork and fabricate the glass. This project utilized our D2G ceramic glass printing concept and then added in some specialty interlayer into the overall composite.
