Pulp Studio, the leading designer and manufacturer of technically superior decorative glass, wins a 2023 Glass Magazine Award in the Best Decorative Glass Interior category for David Geffen Hall at the Lincoln Center in New York, N.Y. The awards honor companies in 13 categories for products and projects.

“This year’s Glass Magazine Award winners demonstrate the amazing multifunctional capabilities of glass,” says Katy Devlin, Content Director and Editor-in-Chief of Glass Magazine. “The winners show how glass and glazing are used to meet sustainability and performance requirements, to create spaces that provide safe and healthy environments for occupants, and to achieve unparalleled feats of design and aesthetics. Additionally, they show how collaboration across the project team can make even the most challenging projects possible.”

The David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center, designed by Diamond Schmitt and Tod Williams/Billie Tsien Architects, features more than 8,700 sq. ft. of flat and bent laminated glass railings and guardrails. These railings were chemically strengthened for the tight 8” radii specified for the job. Pulp Studio’s proprietary Precision Edge® technology was used to post-polish the glass edgework for a refined look using their two-decade-old proven process. In addition, guardrail glass was added with a specially etched low-iron laminated glass that was finished with a digital design for enhanced privacy and intimacy.

Pulp Studio will be featured in the August/September 2023 issue of Glass Magazine. They will also be recognized at a ceremony at GlassBuild America: The Glass Window & Door Expo in Las Vegas, Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
