Pulp Studio, the leading designer and manufacturer of technically superior decorative glass, appoints Kirk Johnson as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. He will be responsible for supervising the overall operations and strategies of Pulp Studio. Johnson will be reporting to Lynda Nishimoto Lax, president and founder of Pulp Studio.

“Kirk has played such a vital role during his tenure at Pulp Studio,” states Lax. “In his new position as CEO, he will continue to streamline operating procedures and contribute to the growth of the business. We are fortunate to have such an established professional on our team.”

With more than 25 years in the glass industry, Johnson started on the production floor and has worked in every aspect of the business from cutting, tempering, lamination, insulation, and fabrication to sales and executive roles. He has served in various C-suite roles with glass fabricators on the West Coast. Johnson initially joined the Pulp Studio team in 2016 as a consultant, then formally joined the team as Executive Director of Operations in 2018.

“As the new CEO, I am committed to continuing the visionary course for our company, embracing innovation, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowering our talented team to achieve greatness,” states Johnson. “Together, we will continue to be the go-to company for decorative and technical glass fabrication as we push, and quite literally bend, the limits of our medium to make the impossible, possible.”
