Several advantages that Structuran® and Decoran® Glass Ceramics offers compared to other products on the market, including granite, marble and composites, currently are:

• Structuran® and Decoran® Glass Ceramics are easy to process with glass-processing machines, but may also be treated with stone-processing machines. We recommend the traditional glass machinery.
  
• Structuran® and Decoran® Glass Ceramics can be treated / processed using various polishing techniques including Flat Poly polishing, faceting and bevelling. And thanks to our CNC-controlled machines edge finishing is no problem at all for Structuran® and Decoran® Glass Ceramics. Other polishing techniques can also be used, including double soft, OG and even triple G. Sawing, milling, drilling holes, or making recesses for sinks and draining tables or cascades present no problems whatsoever. Structuran® en Decoran® Glass Ceramics can also be glued with UV adhesive, while the traditional glues can also be used. It is also possible to make surface structure changes by etching or sand-blasting. Damage-free (depth) sand blasting is also possible.
  

Structuran® and Decoran® Glass Ceramics are a unique, translucent product, which distinguishes itself from other applications on the market. Thanks to its translucency, applications can be produced using light to create the most unique, exclusive ambience. This could include lighted steps or a kitchen island illuminated from underneath, or illuminated pillars etc. Outdoors, garden tables made of Structuran® and Decoran® Glass Ceramics provide the most amazing effects when they catch the sunlight.

The structure of Structuran® and Decoran® Glass Ceramics is created by means of the sintering process. The unique structure thus obtained has a sponge-like effect with depth. This structure is characteristic of the unique and exclusive nature of Structuran® and Decoran® Glass Ceramics.

Structuran® and Decoran® Glass Ceramics is produced by the aforementioned sintering process. This process also makes it possible for Indupart Europe BV to insert logos or other designs into, for example, counter tops or table tops. This may vary from a stripe or a block to letters in various colours. Structuran® and Decoran® Glass Ceramics may also be treated with water jets, which enables inlaying any figure you want with a different colour. This application could, for example, be used for exclusive floors with a beautiful edge finish.
